Unarmed Security D Class
D License – Security Unarmed Training (40 Hours)
In order to begin a career as an unarmed security officer in the State of Florida, attendance at a Licensed Security School (DS) is required. Here, the student will complete a forty-hour course. Mozar Security School is overlooked by the State of Florida Division of Licensing, we works to guarantee each student the highest quality of education and training. This includes what to look for while on the job such as identifying anyone exhibiting behavior of a suspicious nature, creative writing, filing reports and the correct use of force that does not incur liability on behalf of the officer employing it. Once this course is completed, the student must submit the required documentation and state applications to the Florida Division of Licensing. Next, a temporary license will be issued, and a career as an unarmed security officer may be pursed, providing the following requirements are satisfied
- The applicant is at least 18 years of age
- The applicant has a clean background check and no criminal history
- The applicant is a U.S. citizen or otherwise lawful resident.
A license processing fee must be paid to the Division of Licensing. This fee is not included in the course price.
